K’un-Lun Character Unlocks

You can unlock additional characters in this hub world by completing Boss Battles, Puzzles, Races & Missions as listed below. Here is a quick recap of all the characters you can unlock here, scroll down for more details!

  • Hit-Monkey (500,000 studs)
    • Mission: Do You Want To Hit a Snowman

K’un-Lun Boss Battle

There is no boss battle in K’un-Lun.

K’un-Lun Missions

Quests will appear on your map screen as small text bubble icons. Some missions may appear as locked icons, these are missions that require you to complete other missions in the hub area, or elsewhere in Chronopolis to unlock.

Do You Want To Hit a Snowman?

  • Unlocks: Hit-Monkey

It appears Hit-Monkey has some sort of vendetta against snowmen (you’d think he’d hang out somewhere other than K’un-Lun then, but I guess that’s irrelevant). He wants to train you to fight them by having you fight them. Destroy 20 snowmen within the time limit and earn the ability to play him in the game (they’re pretty transparent that that’s the whole reason for this mission). Projectile firing characters seem to have an advantage on this mission, but I recommend using someone like Hulk who gets a destructive run going on if he moves long enough uninterrupted. It’s easier to bowl over the snowmen than to shoot at them, especially since you can’t target them.

K’un-Lun Puzzles

Puzzles will appear on your map as green puzzle pieces. These puzzles require a whole host of abilities or characters to solve, and usually unlock Gold Bricks! Here is a recap of this area’s puzzles:

K’un-Lun Fun Run

  • Unlocks: Gold Brick

Two Iron Fist wannabees have found themselves attempting to clear this obstacle course. You can help them through the power of mind control. Lead the dragon-wearing devotees through the course without falling into the snow below. Reach the end and a gold brick is your reward.

K’un-Lun Races

K’un-Lun has no races.

K’un-Lun Gwenpool Mission

There is no Gwenpool mission associated with K’un-Lun.

K’un-Lun Stan Lee Rescue

Stan Lee is in trouble and he needs your help! Find him on the map by locating the Stan Lee icon. You can typically hear him crying out for help when you are close by! Here’s how to save Stan in this Chronopolis Hub area:

This time Stan isn’t alone in his peril. While Stan is trapped in that pile of snowballs, his companion is somehow frozen in ice on the ceiling. Free him from his imprisonment first. When he comes crashing down, he destroys the fridge, creating a pile of bricks that can be used to build rope hold points on the freezer up on the ledge. Pull that down and out comes the two explorer’s food supply as well as the second explorer. Build a sphere switch and spit with the bricks, then thaw out the food and build it into a turkey. Use the sphere switch to cook the turkey evenly. Eventually it catches fire and you’ll need to put the fire out. The turkey cooked, Stan comes crawling out of his pile of snowballs for the feast.

K’un-Lun Challenge Items

Chronopolis is packed with fun challenges that allow you to unlock vehicles. These challenges can be very difficult to complete! Here’s a list of all the Challenge items we’ve found in this Chronopolis hub:

  • Tiddles: The cat can be found on top of the entrance to the K’un-Lun temple.

Secrets & Easter Eggs

  • The mission “Do You Want To Hit a Snowman?” is a clear reference to Disney’s Frozen.
  • During the mission “Do You Want to Hit a Snowman?” one of the pieces of advice you get is to do it “harder, better, faster, stronger” – a reference to the Daft Punk song of the same name.
