LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Box Art Revealed

The Force was with Star Wars and LEGO fans this past Star Wars Day (May 4th 2020) when TT Games finally dropped key art for the highly anticipated LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga game! The Skywalker Saga was first announced back during E3 2019 and news has been far and in between with not even word of a release date until a few days after this art was dropped! The art has since been used as the social media banner for The Skywalker Saga social media pages, on TT Games website, and the box art for preorders of the game have also been updated.

The upcoming AAA title will follow the events of all 9 mainline movies (no word on events from spin off films or TV shows will be playable at this time) and the art definitely puts that fact front and center with characters and set pieces from various films blended into a single epic piece. TT describes the art as follows “Encapsulating the game’s epic blend of the three Star Wars™ trilogies, the key art includes some of the greatest heroes and villains seen throughout the Skywalker saga. Players can fight against the forces of evil as favourite characters such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Rey, Finn, BB-8 and a legion of other heroes, or turn to the dark side as Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and more.” You can read the entire KEY ART REVEAL here.

What do you think of this art? Does it encapsulate the blending of three different trilogies like TT says or is it too much or too little? Like always let us know what you think in the comments below or over on social media!
